Incorporating the SPARC M12-2S Into a Building
Block Configuration
This section describes the procedure for incorporating the SPARC M12-2S that has
undergone maintenance into a building block configuration. This procedure is done
after the one described in
Block
Note - This procedure assumes that the cables are connected to the SPARC M12-2S that has
undergone maintenance and that the READY LED on the XSCFU is blinking.
Incorporate the SPARC M12-2S.
1.
Return to the operation screen of the replacefru command of the XSCF shell, and
enter "f".
Please execute the following steps:
1) Confirm the XSCF STANDBY LED of BB#0 is not lit.
2) Turn off the breaker of BB#0.
3) Remove BB#0.
4) Execute either the following:
4-1) After the exchanged device is connected with the system,
turn on the breaker of BB#0, and please select 'finish'.
4-2) If you want to suspend the maintenance without exchanging device,
please select 'cancel'.

The following screen appears when you enter "f". Wait for the processing to
finish.
