Stopping the System
For hardware maintenance and for changing the hardware configuration, it is
necessary to stop the system depending on the FRU requiring maintenance and the
system configuration.
This section describes the following procedures for stopping the system:
Stopping a Specific Physical Partition

Stopping All Physical Partitions
■
Note - Before stopping the system, check with the system administrator or the logical domain
administrator about whether you can stop the logical domain.

Stopping a Specific Physical Partition
This section describes the procedure for stopping a specific physical partition in a
system with a building block configuration.
The operations described here are possible only from the XSCF shell.
the procedure after login to the master XSCF.
Note - From the OPNL, you cannot instruct the system to stop a specific physical partition.
