SHIVER 900
TO COUNT THE NUMBER OF CLICKS OF THE ADJUSTER
(1) ALWAYS START FROM THE MOST RIGID SETTING
(COMPLETE CLOCKWISE ROTATION).
TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ADJUSTER SCREWS (1),
NEVER FORCE THEM BEYOND THE END OF TRAVEL IN
EITHER DIRECTION.
Using the specific spanner, unscrew
the locking ring nut (3).
Use the adjuster ring nut (2) to adjust
the preload of the spring (A).
Once the adjustment is done, screw
the ring nut (3).
Use the screw (1) to adjust the shock
absorber rebound hydraulic braking.
SET SPRING PRELOADING AND SHOCK ABSORBER RE-
BOUND DAMPING ACCORDING TO THE VEHICLE USE
CONDITIONS.
IF THE SPRING PRE-LOADING IS INCREASED, IT IS NEC-
ESSARY TO INCREASE THE REBOUND DAMPING AC-
CORDINGLY TO AVOID SUDDEN JERKS WHEN RIDING.
