Only use the Delete All function to remove all configured and alien storage (file system configurations
and RAID sets).
Procedure
1. Navigate to the Storage > Storage Configuration tab.
2. Click Delete All.
A warning dialog box will appear that explains that all storage configuration for the entire cluster will be
deleted and all backup data will be lost.
3. Click Delete to continue.
A Please Wait – Deleting Storage dialog box will appear and the Management Console will remain
greyed out while deletion is in progress.

Deleting an Alien Volume or an invalid RAID Volume

The Delete button is active in the top right corner of the Unconfigured Storage table when the selected
row in the table has an Alien Volume error. This situation only happens if you took the storage expansion
from another appliance or you quick restored the StoreOnce unit to the factory default configuration.
When volumes do not require deletion, this button is inactive.
To delete a RAID set that contains an alien volume:
Procedure
1. Navigate to the Storage > Storage Configuration tab.
2. In the Unconfigured Storage table, select the row that is reporting an Alien Volume error.
3. Click Delete.
A warning dialog box will appear stating that the volume will be deleted and any storage present on
this volume will be lost.
4. Click Delete to continue.
