For optimum router performance, verify the condition of the Control Board and Routing
Engine (CB-RE).
On a regular basis:
Check the host subsystem LEDs on the craft interface. For more information about the
LEDs and the display, see
During normal operations:
The green host subsystem
The red host subsystem
Check the LEDs on the control board portion of the CB-RE faceplate.
During normal operations:
The green OK LED on the CB-RE faceplate is lit.
The red LED on the CB-RE faceplate is not lit.
FAIL
Issue the
show chassis environment cb
