5.7 The "Layer 3 (IPv6)" menu
● Remote ID Type
Select hat is used as the identifier for the IPv6 interface. The following options are available:
– DUID
– System Name
– Management IP
– User Defined
● DHCP Unique Identifier
Enter the DUID (DHCP Unique Identifier).
● User Defined
Enter a user-defined entry as the identifier.
Steps in configuration
1. Enable Remote ID (Opt. 37).
2. Select the required interface and click the "Set Values" button.
3. Click the "Create" button. A new entry is generated in the table.
4. Specify the type of remote ID in "Remote ID Type" e.g. the system name. The system name
of the device is used as the identifier.

Server Addresses

On this page you enable the DHCPv6 relay agent on the interface. You also specify which
DHCPv6 server can be reached via it.
