The status of the management path
Displays the state of the management path. In addition, if a link-down or
network failure occurs, an alert is sent to HCSM. The following lists each
status:
Item
Active
Standby
Error
Link down This indicates the path is in a link-down state.
Unknown
-----
To update the management path status, perform a diagnosis of the
management path.
You can display the management path status by the following operation:

Diagnosing the management path
LPAR manager diagnoses the path status of the standby system. To diagnose
the communication state periodically, enable management path periodical
diagnosis. You can display the current status by the following operations:

This indicates the path is in the active state, and is used for communication
with the management module.
This indicates the path is in the standby state, and can be used for external
communication.
This indicates the path is in a network failure state.
This indicates LPAR manager is unable to communicate externally.
This indicates no port is specified for the path.
