REMOVE STARTER RELAY

INSPECT STARTER RELAY CONTINUITY

(a) Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity be­
tween terminals 1 and

there is no continuity, replace the relay.
Check that there is no continuity between terminals 3 and

Apply battery positive voltage across terminals i and 2.
