HINT:
Make sure that the claws shown by the arrow in the illustration
are locked.

Check that the key lock cam is contact with the cam stopper.

FLOOH SHIFT ASSEMBLY
INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY
Pull in the cable white pressing the clip of the transaxle
control cable to the floor shift assembly.
Install the cable end from the rod of the floor shift assem­
bly.
Install the floor shift assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque: 1 2 N-m (120 kgf-cm, 9 ft.lbf)
Connect the wire harness clamps from the floor shift as­
sembly.
Connect the 2 connector.
INSTALL KEY INTERLOCK CABLE
Pass the key interlock cable end through the hole in the
floor shift assembly.
With the shift lever in N position, set the hole of the cable
end to the floor shift assembly to assemble them.
At the time of reassembly:
With the key in ACC, push a claw into lock key.
At this time, be careful not to apply undue force on bend�
ing to the cable (Cable length adjustment is completed).
With the key in ACC, instal! the cable cap claw to the key
interlock.
