REMOVE 0/D MAIN SWITCH TERMINAL

1 .
Remove the 0/0 main switch connector from the shift le-

ver plate.
Disengage the secondary locking device.
(b)
Release the locking tog of the terminals 5 and 6, and pull
(c)
the terminals out from the rearward.

REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

Remove the 2 screws and shift lever knob sub-assembly.
(a )
NOTICE:
Pay attention not to apply unnatural load to OlD main
switch wire harness.
Remove the OlD main switch.
{b)
Remove the No. 2 slide cover.
(c)
Remove the shift lever stop pin, shift lever knob button,
(d)
shift lever knob button guide and compression spring.

REMOVE UPPER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

Remove the upper position indicator housing.

Remove the control position indicator plate.

Remove the 3 slide covers from the tower posiUon indica­

tor housing.

REMOVE LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

4.
Remove the indicator lamp wire sub--assembly.

Remove the 4 screws and lower position indicator hous­
(b)
ing.
Remove the bulb cap and bulb from the indicator lamp
(c)
wire sub - -assembly.
Remove the shift lock release button and spring.
(d)
