Hft Oil Passage Inspection - Honda NSA700A DN-1 2009 Service Manual

HFT
Remove the plate from the spool valve body.
The plate is under
s p rin g p re s s u re .
Hemove the spring and spool valve.
Clean all parts and blow dry them.
Check the spool valve fo r wear or damage.
Check the valve spring for wear or fatigue.

HFT OIL PASSAGE INSPECTION

Remove the following:
- EOP sensor (page 11-103)
- N/D solenoid valve (page 11-107)
- Lock up solenoid valve (page 11-109)
- Neutral oil pressure switch (page 11-106)
Clean al HFT oil passages in the right crankcase
cover, check them fo r clogs or other obstructions.
NOTE:
• Be careful not to contaminate the HFT oil pas­
sages w ith foreign matters as it w ill cause HFT
mulfunction.
ASSEMBLY
SPOOL VALVE
Coat the spool valve with engine oil.
Install the spool valve and spring into the spool
valve body.
