Clean off the sealant from the mating surface.

NOTE:
• The dowel pins w ith O-rings have two purposes;
to fix the position of the right crankcase cover
and to act as oil passages.

BEARING INSPECTION

Turn the inner race of N/D clutch bearing and HFT
shaft bearing with your finger.
The bearings should turn sm oothly and qu etly.
Also check that the bearing outer races fit tig htly in
the right crankcase cover.
Remove and discard the bearings if the races do not
turn smoothly and quietly, or if they fit loosely in the
right crankcase cover.
DISASSEMBLY

N/D CLUTCH HYDRAULIC PIPE

Remove the snap ring from the right crankcase
cover.
Remove the hydraulic pipe/guide and O-ring.
