4. Swash Plate Angle Sensor O utput Inspection
Turn the ignition switch "OFF".
Disconnect the TCM 33P (Black) connector.
Check for continuity between the TCM 33P con­
nector and the movable drive face position sen­
sor 3P connector of the w ire harness side.
CONNECTION: A18 (Pink) - Pink
TOOL:
Test probe
Is there c o n tin u ity ?
YES - GO TO STEP 5.
NO - Open circuit in Pink wire.
5. Swash Plate Angle Sensor O utput Line Short
Circuit Inspection
Check for continuity between the swash plate
angle sensor 3P connector term inal of the wire
harness side and ground.
CONNECTION: Pink - Ground
Is there co n tin u ity ?
YES - Short circuit in Pink wire.
NO - Replace the TCM with a new one, and
recheck (HFT
dure:page 11-93).
DTC 25-2 (SW ASH PLATE ANGLE
SENSOR HIGH VOLTAGE)
• Before starting inspection, Check fo r loose or
poor connectors on the swash plate angle sensor
3P connector and TCM 33P connector, then check
the DTC.
• When removing the swash plate angle sensor,
Perform the HFT initialization procedure (page
11-93).
1. Swash Plate Angle
Inspection
Remove the swash plate angle sensor (page 11-

).
Measure the resistance at the swash plate angle
sensor A and C terminals of the sensor side.
CONNECTION: A - C
Is there resistance w ith in 1.6 - 2.4 k£2 (20 C /
6 8 F )?
YES - GO TO STEP 2.
NO - Faulty swash plate angle sensor.
