Ring Gear Installation - Honda NSA700A DN-1 2009 Service Manual

Clean the threads of the pinion gear shaft and pin­
ion jo in t nut thoroughly.
Apply locking agent to the joint nut threads and
install the pinion jo in t and jo in t nut onto the pinion
gear shaft.
Hold the pinion jo in t with the special tools and
tighten the pinion jo in t nut to the specified torque.
TOOLS:
Pinion holder
Pinion holder attachment
TORQUE: 108 M m (11.0 kgf-m, 80 Ibf-ft)
