5. VS Sensor Ground Line Open Circuit Inspection
Check fo r continuity between the wire harness
side VS sensor 3P (Black) connector terminal and
TCM connector terminal.
Connection: Green - Ground
TOOL:

. VS Sensor Signal Line Short Circuit Inspection

Check for continuity between the wire harness
side VS sensor 3P (Black) connector and ground.
Connection: Pink - Ground
Is there co n tin u ity ?
YES
NO
DTC 14-1 (N /D SOLENOID VALVE
LOCK)
• This problem code will be indicated when the
shift switch position and the N/D status of neutral
oil pressure switch are not synchronized for
more than ten seconds.
• Before starting inspection, Check for loose or
poor connectors on the N/D solenoid valve 2P
(Black) connector and TCM 33P (Black) connec­
tor, then check the DTC.
1. Neutral Oil Pressure Switch Inspection
Remove the right side cover (page 3-14).
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Remove the dust cover.
Remove the bolt/washer and disconnect the neu­
tral oil pressure switch wire.
Check fo r continuity between the neutral oil
pressure switch terminal and ground.
Is there c o n tin u ity w hen the engine is stopp ed
(no o il pressure) ?
YES
NO

- GO TO STEP .

- Open circuit in Green wire.
- Short circuit in Pink wire.
- Replace the TCM with a new one, and
recheck (HFT initialization procedure:
page 11-93).
- GO TO STEP 2.
- Faulty neutral oil pressure switch
