9. Swash Plate Control M otor Operate Inspection
(Clockwise)
A pply battery voltage to the control m otor 2P
connector terminals and check that the control
m otor operation.
Does the c o n tro l m o to r turn (C lockw ise)?
YES - G O TO STEP 10.
NO - Faulty control motor.
10. Swash Plate Control M otor Operate Inspection
(Counterclockwise)
Apply battery voltage to the control m otor 2P
connector terminals and check that the control
m otor operation.
Does th e c o n tro l m o to r tu rn (C ounterclock­
wise)?
YES - Replace the TCM with a new one, and
recheck (HFT initialization procedure:
page 11-93).
NO - Faulty control m otor.
DTC 28-1 (SW ASH PLATE CONTROL
MOTOR)
• Before starting inspection, Check for loose or
poor connectors on the swash plate control
m otor 2P (Black) connector and TCM 5P (Black)
connector, then check the DTC.
• W hen rem oving the swash plate angle sensor,
Perform the HFT initialization procedure (page
11-93).
1. HFT M otor Fuse Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Remove the seat pillion (page 3-4).
Open the fuse box and remove the HFT m otor
fuse 30 A.
Inspect the HFT m otor fuse 30 A.
Is th e fuse b lo w n ?
YES - Replace the fuse with a new one.
NO - GO TO STEP 2.
