TORQUE TRANSMISSION COMPONENTS
Engine torque is transm itted through the cam damper/primary drive gear to the HFT.
When the starting clutch is operated, engine torque is transm itted to the HFT. This input torque is converted to hydraulic
pressure within the HFT according to engine speed. The hydraulic pressure drives the HFT output shaft.
The torque from the HFT output shaft is transmitted through the N/D clutch, which can be connected or disconnected by
the rider, to the side gear, drive shaft, final drive gear, and then to the rear wheel.
