CYLINDER HEAD/VALVE
Install the cylin d e r head to th e cylinder.
A p p ly engine oil to th e each bolts and nuts th read s
an d seating surfaces.
Install and tig h te n th e c y lin d e r head bolts, nuts and
w a s h e r to th e sp ecified to rq u e .
TORQUE:
10 mm nut: 40 N m (4.1 kgf-m, 30 Ibf ft)
8 mm bolt:
NOTE:
• T ig h ten all to h a n d -tig h t, th e n to rq u e the larg er
fasteners b e fo re tig h te n in g th e s m a lle r fasteners.
• T ig h ten th e bolts and nuts in a crisscross p attern
in several steps.
Install the cam chain te n s io n e r, alig n in g its end w ith
th e g ro ove in th e crankcase.
Install th e te n s io n e r bolts w ith n e w sealing w ashers
and tigh ten th e m alte rn ate ly .
TORQUE: 10 N-m (1.0 kgf-m, 7 Ib fft)
Install a n ew O -rin g to th e C M P sensor.
Install th e C M P s en so r and tig h te n th e b o lt securely.
