Remove the a ir cleaner housing m ou ntin g bolts.
Loosen the air cleaner housing connecting tube
band screws.
Lift up the a ir cleaner housing and disconnect the
crankcase breather hose and PAIR a ir supply hose.
Remove the air cleaner housing.
• Seal the th ro ttle body intake ports w ith tape o r a
clean cloth to keep d irt and debris fro m entering
the intake ports after the a ir cleaner housing has
been rem oved. If debris is allow ed to enter the
ports the engine m ay be damaged.
