FUEL SYSTEM (PGM-FI)
4. FI/IG N /PUM P Relay Inspection 1
Turn the ig n itio n sw itch OFF.
Open the fuse/relay box and rem ove the FI/IGN/
PUMP relay (page 6-68).
Turn the ig n itio n switch ON and engine stop
sw itch "O".
M easure the voltage at the FI/IGN/PUMP relay
term inals.
CONNECTION: Red/orange (+) - Red/green (-)
Is there b a tte ry voltage?
YES
NO

Turn the ig n itio n sw itch OFF.
Ju m p the FI/IGN/PUMP relay connector te rm i­
nals.
CONNECTION: Black/white - Red/yellow
Turn the ig n itio n switch ON and engine stop
sw itch "O".
M easure the voltage at the ECM 33P (Black) con­
nector w ire harness side te rm in a l and ground.
CONNECTION: A4 (+) - Ground (-)
TOOL:
Test probe
