LUBRICATION SYSTEM
INSPECTION
Tempo rar ily install the outer ~nd inner rotors into
the oil pump body.
Install the oil p umps shaft.
Measur e the t ip clearance between the inner an d

SERVICE LIMIT: 0. 20 mm 1 0.00 8 in)
TIP CLEARANCE:
Measu re the pu m p body clearance betwee n t he BODY CLEARANCE:
oute r rOlor and pump body.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0 .40 mm 10.016 in)
Mea sure tho side clearance us ing a straight edge SIDE CLEARANCE:
and feeler gauge.
SERVIC E LIMIT: 0.025 mm (0.010 i n)
Remove t he two bo lts and o il pump gear cover.
