Bearing Installation - Honda NSA700A DN-1 2009 Service Manual

CRANKCASE/CRANKSHAFT
In case of main bearing replacement only:

BEARING THICKNESS:
O.S. E (Yellow): Thick
O.S. F (Pink):
O.S. G (Red):
A (Blue): Middle
B (Black):
C (Brown): ^
D (Green): Thin

BEARING INSTALLATION

Apply engine oil to new bearing surface.
Set new bearings to the metal installer aligning its side edge w ith the
metal installer grooves.
TOOL:
M etal installer set
Assemble the metal installer and tighten the socket bolts to the speci­
fied torque.
TORQUE: 23 N-m (2.3 kgf-m, 17 Ib fft)
Set the bearings and specia tools assembly on inside of the crankcase,
fitting the bearing edge in the crankcase main journal.
Align the mating line of the bearings w ith the index mark on the crank­
case as shown.
