SWASH PLATE MOVABLE INSPECTION AT HFT OIL
MOTOR SIDE
Turn the gear and check the swash plate and ball
nut movement.
The reduction gear should t u n smoothly.
TURNING INSPECTION AT HFT OIL PUMP SIDE
Hold the HFT shaft and turn the HFT at the oil pump
side.
Check the HFT rotation at the oil pump side.
The HFT at the oil pump side should turn smoothly.
- The first few turns may seem unsmooth as the
HFT is filled w ith oil.
- Click sound (contacting sound of the piston and
oil pump side swash plate! may be heard as you
turn the HFT (nine times per turn).
TURNING INSPECTION AT HFT OIL MOTOR SIDE
Incline a little the swash plate and hold the HFT at
the m otor side.
Turn the HFT shaft and check the HFT rotation at the
oil m otor side.
- The first few turns may seem unsmooth as the
HFT is filled with oil.
- Click sound (contacting sound of the piston and
oil m otor side swash plate) may be heard as you
turn the HFT (nine times per turn).
INSTALLATION
Install the dowel pins and O-r ng.
NOTE:
• The dowel pins with O-rings have tw o purposes;
to fix the position of the HFT and to act as oil pas­
sages.
• Be careful not to pinch the O-rings between the
right crankcase and the HFT.
