REMOVAL
Remove the following:
- Right crankcase cover (page 11-69)
- Neutral/drive clutch assembly (page 11-77)
Remove the snap ring and final driven gear.
Remove the following:
- Left side cover (page 3-15)
- Final gear case (page 14-8)
Release the clamp and disconnect the VS sensor 3P
(Black) connector.
Remove the side gear case mounting bolts.
NOTE:
When removing the side gear case mounting bolts
(65 mm), note the location of the bolts.
Remove the side gear case assembly from the eft
crankcase.
Remove the O-ring.
