SERVICE INFORMATION

GENERAL
• This section covers rem o v a l and in s ta lla tio n o f th e b o d y p anels and e x h a u s t system .
• Serious burns m a y result if the e x h a u s t system is n ot a llo w e d tc cool b e fo re c o m p o n e n ts a re rem o ve d o r serviced.
• Always replace th e ex h a u s t pipe gaskets w ith n e w ones a fte r rem o v in g th e e x h au st pipe fro m th e en g in e.
• When installing th e e xh a u s t system , lo o sely install all o f th e exh au st p ip e fasten ers. A lw a y s tig h te n th e exh a u s t pipe
joint nuts first, then tig h te n the m o u n tin g fasteners.
• Always inspect the e xh a u s t system fo r leaks a fte r in stallatio n .
• Route the w ires, hoses a n d cables p ro p e rly (p a g e 1-20).
