3. IACV Circuit Continuity Inspection
Disconnect the ECM 33P (Black) connector.
Check fo r continuities between the ECM 33P
(Black) co rn e cto r te rm inals and the IACV 4P
(Black) connector term inals.
CONNECTION: A19 - Yellow/blue
A27 - G reen/w hite
A16 - Green
A29 - Green/yellow
TOOL:
Test probe
Are there c o n tin u itie s ?
YES - GO TO STEP 4.
NO - • Open o r loose contact in Yellow /blue
or G reen/w hite w ire.
• Open o r loose contact in Green or
G reen/yellow w ire.
4. IACV Resistance Inspection
Measure the resistance at the IACV 4P (Black)
connector term inals.
CONNECTION: Yellow/blue - Green/yellow
Green/white - Green
STANDARD 99 - 121
Is tho resistance w ith in 9 9 - 121 /J (2 5 c C /7 7 °F )?
YES - Replace the ECM w ith a new one, and
recheck.
NO - Faulty IACV.
DTC 33-2 (E E P R O M )
1. Recheck DTC
Reset the DTC (page 6-13).
Turn the ignition sw itch ON and engine stop
switch " O ' •
Recheck the DTC.
Is the DTC 29-1 in d ic a te d ?
NO - Replace the ECM w ith a new one, and
recheck.
YES - Interm ittent failure.
