6.9.3 HOT ROLLER REPLACEMENT

Remove the hot roller unit:
Follow steps 1 to 5 of hot roller unit removal and pressure roller replacement.
1. Remove the fusing entrance guide [A] (2 screws).
2. Remove the two screws [B] securing the harness terminal bracket, and unhook
the bracket.
NOTE: Unhook the thermistor cable [C] and thermofuse cable [D] to prevent
them from becoming damaged.
3. Disconnect the three green connectors [E] for the fusing lamp cables from the
terminal on the rear side.
4. Disconnect the three white fusing lamp connectors [F] on the front side.
NOTE: To distinguish the 630W (A295) from the 530W (A294) lamps, the color

of the front wire harness [G] of the fusing lamp for the 630W (A295) is
different from that of the 530W (A294).
A294: 530W, Blue
A295: 630W, Red
The colors of the connectors for both the lamps are the same. The following note
for re-assembling does not change.
