6.9 FUSING UNIT

6.9.1 OIL SUPPLY & CLEANING WEB UNIT REMOVAL

1. Turn off the main switch.
2. Pull out the fusing and exit unit [A].
3. Remove the fusing unit inner cover [B] (2 screws).
NOTE: The oil supply and cleaning web unit is still hot even if the main switch
is turned off for servicing.
4. Remove the oil supply and cleaning web unit [C] (1 screw).
NOTE: Make sure that the web collecting roller gear engages with the gears on
the fusing/exit unit after re-installing the oil supply and cleaning web
unit.
