6. Reinstall the drum cooling fan and the fly wheel removed in step 2.
7. Reinstall the upper rear cover of the copier.

3.8.2 INSTALLATION NOTES FOR CD-R/RW

The optional interface board is required when installing the CD-R/RW.
1. Remove the shorting connector [E] from connector TB101 of the interface board.
2. In order to use the CD-R/RW, firmware version 7.31.3 (suffix J) or newer must
be installed in the copier.
Switch Settings
The switches on the rear face of the CD-R/RW should not be changed from the
factory settings.
