Phillips (+) screwdriver, number 1
To install the air filter in an EX6210 switch (see
Attach the electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and

connect the strap to the ESD point on the chassis.
Ensure that you are holding the filter in the correct orientation for installation; the
2.
foam side must face the chassis.
Push the six captive screws, one in each corner of the filter faceplate and two in the
3.
middle, into the corresponding hole in the chassis. Ensure that each screw is properly
seated in the corresponding hole in the chassis.
Tighten the screws by turning them clockwise, using the Phillips (+) screwdriver.
4.
CAUTION:
Do not overtighten the screws. Applying excessive force might
damage the screws or the filter.
All screws must be tight enough, for the filter to be securely installed in the chassis.
