You can also lift the chassis onto the adjustable mounting brackets (if installed) in a
four-post rack or onto the power cord tray (if installed) in a two-post rack and carefully
align the front mounting brackets of the switch with the rack rails at the desired
location.
WARNING:
To prevent injury, keep your back straight and lift with your
legs, not your back. Do not twist your body as you lift. Balance the load
evenly and be sure that your footing is firm.

Push the bottom of the chassis so that the front-mounting brackets are flush with

the front of the rack. Ensure that one person supports the rear of the chassis while it
is pushed in the rack.
In a four-post rack, carefully slide the switch onto the adjustable mounting brackets
(if installed) until the front-mounting brackets attached to the chassis contact the
rack rails. The adjustable mounting brackets ensure that the holes in the
front-mounting brackets attached to the chassis align with the holes in the rack rails.
In a two-post rack, carefully slide the switch over the lip of the power cord tray (if
installed) and into the rack. Push the bottom of the chassis so that the front-mounting
brackets are flush with the front of the rack. Ensure that one person supports the rear
of the chassis while it is pushed in the rack.
Install a mounting screw into each of the open front-mounting holes aligned with the

rack, starting from the bottom.
