Each Switch Fabric and Routing Engine (SRE) module has two management ports: a
10/100/1000 BASE-T port and a Gigabit Ethernet SFP management port.
Each management port on EX6200 switches has two LEDs that indicate link/activity
and port status (see
Figure 11 on page

State and Description
Indicates the administrative status (enabled or disabled). The
status indicators are:
Green (On steadily)—Administrative status is enabled.
Off—Administrative status is disabled.
Indicates the duplex mode. The status indicators are:
Green (On steadily)—Port is set to full-duplex mode
Off—Port is set to half-duplex mode
PoE is not enabled on uplink ports; therefore, the LED for those
ports is always unlit.
Off—PoE is not enabled on the port.
Indicates the speed. The speed indicators are:
Green (On steadily)—1/10 Gbps or auto
Green (Blinking)—100 Mbps
