LUBRICATION SYSTEM
INSPECTION
Engine oil pump: Temporarily install the inner rotor,
outer rotor, drive pin and oil pump shaft into the oil
pump body.
Clutch oil pump: Temporarily install the inner rotor,
outer rotor, drive pin and oil pump shaft into the oil
pump cover.
Measure the rotor tip clearance.
Engine oil pump
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.20 mm (0.008 in)
Clutch oil pump
STANDARD:
Measure the pump body clearance.
Engine oil pump
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.35 mm (0.014 in)
Clutch oil pump
STANDARD:
Measure the side clearance using a straight edge and
feeler gauge.
Engine oil pump
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.12 mm (0.005 in)
Clutch oil pump
STANDARD:
9-10
0.15 mm (0.006 in)
0.15 – 0.21 mm (0.006 – 0.008 in)
0.04 – 0.09 mm (0.002 – 0.004 in)
