Remove the muffler mounting nut [1], bolt [2] and
washer [3].
Remove the muffler [4] and gasket [5].
Remove the muffler cover socket bolt.
Remove the muffler cover by releasing its slits from the muffler bosses.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
• Replace the gasket with a new one.
• Align the muffler band tab with the muffler upper right slit.
TORQUE:
Muffler cover socket bolt:
10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7 lbf·ft)
Muffler band bolt:
17.5 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13 lbf·ft)
