Sunroof operating mechanism: Removal - Refitting
B91 or K91
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Bond the sunroof operating mechanism using the
BIPAC EVOLUTION BONDING KIT with special
supports (see Vehicle: Parts and consumables
for the repair) (04B, Consumables - Products).
a Check that the sunroof operating mechanism posi-
tioning shims make contact with the roof.
a Refit the sunroof side trim pieces (see 54A, Win-
dows, Sunroof side trim: Removal - Refitting,
page 54A-30) .
a Remove the two indexing guides 30 minutes after
bonding the sunroof operating mechanism.
a Adjust the position of the sunroof mobile panel (see
52A, Non-side opening element mechanisms,
Sunroof mobile panel: Removal - Refitting, page
52A-13) .
III - FINAL OPERATION.
a Torque tighten the curtain airbag bolts (see Side
curtain airbag: Removal - Refitting) (88C, Airbags
and pretensioners).
a Connect the sunroof motor connector (1) .
a Attach the wiring onto the clips.
a Refit the headlining (see Headlining: Removal -
Refitting) (71A, Body internal trim).

a Refit the roof bars (see 56A, Exterior equipment,
Roof bar: Removal - Refitting, page 56A-12) (de-
pending on the equipment level).
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Apply the after repair procedure using the Diagnos-
tic tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool,
- select « UCH » ,
- go to repair mode,
- display the « before/after repair procedure » for the
computer selected,
- select « Sunroof motor » in the « List of the compo-
nents controlled by this computer » section,
- carry out the operations described in the « After re-
pair procedure » section.
