Rear screen: Removal - Refitting

Note:
Do not damage the rear screen seal when remov-
ing or refitting the rear screen. The seal is not sold
separately. In this case, use the pneumatic tool to
remove bonded windows (see window removal
tool: use).
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Remove:
- the high level brake light (see 3rd brake light: Re-
moval - Refitting) (81A, Rear lighting),
- the rear quarter panel trims (see Quarter panel
trim: Removal - Refitting) (71A, Body internal
trim).
a Remove the rear screen lower seal (1) .
WINDOWS
a Disconnect:
- the heated rear screen wiring harness connectors
- the aerial amplifier connectors (2) .
II - REMOVAL OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Cut the cement bead (see Technical Note 560A).
a Remove the rear screen (this operation requires two
people).
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a For preparation and bonding (see Technical Note
560A).
a parts always to be replaced: Rear screen adjust-

ing shim (50,04,12,03).
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Bond the rear screen (this operation requires two
people).
a Balance out the clearances and flush-fittings.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Connect:
- the aerial amplifier connectors.
- the heated rear screen wiring harness connectors.
a Refit:
- the high level brake light (see 3rd brake light: Re-
