REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

a Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery).
F4R or K4M or K9K or M4R or M9R
a Remove:
- the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting)
(80A, Battery),
- the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery).
a Remove:
- the air filter unit (see Air filter unit: Removal - Re-
fitting) (12A, Fuel mixture),
- the bonnet catch (see 52A, Non-side opening el-
ement mechanisms, Bonnet lock: Removal -
Refitting, page 52A-1) ,
- the front sill panel trim (see Front door sill lining:
Removal - Refitting) (71A, Body internal trim).
LEFT-HAND DRIVE
a Remove the lower trim from the dashboard (see
57A, Interior equipment, Dashboard lower trim:
Removal - Refitting, page 57A-4) (71A, Body inter-
nal trim).
RIGHT-HAND DRIVE
a Remove the glovebox (see 57A, Interior equip-
ment, Glovebox: Removal - Refitting, page 57A-
8) .
RIGHT-HAND DRIVE
a Remove:
- the bolt (1) ,
- the passenger compartment fuse and relay box
partially at (2) .
