Enabling Hot Backup

To enable Hot Backup:

On the RMX menu, click Setup > Hot Backup.
The RMX Hot Backup dialog box is displayed.
Complete or modify the following fields:

Paired MCU IP

Status
Click OK.
Description
Select this check box to enable Hot Backup.
This setting determines the role of the MCU in the Hot Backup
configuration.
Select either Master MCU or Slave MCU from the drop-down menu.
Enter the Control Unit IP Address of the:
Slave MCU (if this MCU is the Master)
Master MCU (if this MCU is the Slave)
The status of the synchronization between the Master and Slave
MCUs in the Hot Backup configuration is indicated as:
OK - Hot Backup is functioning normally, and the Master and
Slave MCUs are synchronized.
Attempting - Hot Backup is attempting to synchronize the Master
and Slave MCUs.
Fail - A failure occurred while trying to synchronize the paired
MCUs.
None - Hot Backup has not been enabled.
