SNMPv3 - Traps

SNMP Trap Version
Trap Destination
Description
Specifies the version, either Version 1 2 or 3 of the traps being sent to
the IP Host. Polycom software supports the standard SNMP version 1
and 2 traps, which are taken from RFC 1215, convention for defining
traps for use with SNMP.
Note: The SNMP Trap Version parameters must be defined
identically in the external SNMP application.
This box lists the currently defined IP addresses of the Manager
terminals to which the message (trap) is sent.
IP
Enter the IP address of the SNMP
trap recipient.
Community
Enter the Community Name of the
Name
manager terminal used to monitor
the MCU activity
User Name
Enter the name of the user who is to
have access to the trap.
Authentication
Enter the authentication protocol:
Protocol
MD5 or SHA.
Privacy
Enter the privacy protocol: DES or
Protocol
AES.
Engine ID
Enter an Engine ID to be used for
both the Agent and the Trap.
Default: Empty
