Remove the oil filter cartridge using the special tool
and let the remaining oil drain out.
TOOL:
Oil filter wrench 07HAA-PJ70101 or
07HAA-PJ70100
(U.S.A. only) or
07HAA-PLCA100
(U.S.A. only)
Coat a new O-ring with engine oil and install it to a
new oil filter cartridge.
Apply engine oil to the threads of a new oil filter car ­
tridge.
Install the oil filter cartridge and tighten it to the
specified torque.
TOOL:
Oil filter wrench 07HAA-PJ70101 or
07HAA-PJ70100
(U.S.A. only) or
07HAA-PLCA100
(U.S.A. only)
TORQUE: 26 N·m (2.7 kgf·m, 191bHt)
Install the oil drain bolt with a new sealing washer
and tighten it to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 29 N·m (3.0 kgf'm, 21 Ibf·ft)
Fill the crankcase with the recommended engine oil
(page 4-13). •
OIL CAPACITY:
2.5Ii,ers (2.6 US qt, 2.2 Imp qt) at draining
2,6 liters (2.7 US qt, 2.3 Imp qt) at oil filter change
3.2 liters (3.4 US qt, 2.8 Imp qt)
at
disassembly
Check the engine oil level (page 4-12).
Install the oil filler cap/dipstick (page 4-13).
Make sure there are no oil leaks.
