The Infranet Controller supports two LDAP-specific authentication options:
Unencrypted — The Infranet Controller sends the username and password to the LDAP
Directory Service in clear, simple text.
LDAPS — The Infranet Controller encrypts the data in the LDAP authentication session
using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol before sending it to the LDAP Directory
Service.
To define an LDAP server instance:
In the NSM navigation tree, select Device Manager> Devices.

Click the Device Tree tab, and then double-click the Infranet Controller for which you

Click the Configuration tab. In the configuration tree, select Authentication > Auth

Add or modify an LDAP server instance as specified in Table 41 on page 125.
