FINDING A REMEDY
The following table lists various troubleshooting scenarios you may encounter when operating the 380mc and
methods for resolving these scenarios.
Condition
Canister will not load
Possible Cause
Anti-rotation plug not removed
from canister.
Rubber thumbwheel insert not
removed from thumbwheel door.
Empty canister (zero volume).
Filament stuck in canister.
Incorrect canister type installed. The 380mc utilizes a different canister memory
Canister drive not fully lowered
onto canister.
Canister memory chip circuit
failed.
Incorrect tip size displayed on

Remedy
Remove plug (see

Remove canister from printer and pull out about
8 feet (2 meters) of material. Ensure filament
pulls out freely. See

Ensure that a 380mc canister is installed - these
canisters exhibit a black canister snout and

canister's icon is red, there may be an issue with
the canister's memory chip. Unload and then
reload the canister. If the error persists, replace
the canister with a new one. See

Verify that installed tips match the tip
