Rest the canister on the edge of the bay - do not push the canister fully into the bay.
Caution: Do not remove the plastic plug until you are ready to pre-load filament.

Remove the plastic plug (6A) on top of the snout.
5.
Snap the plastic plug into the storage slot (6B).
6.
For new canisters, prepare the filament (5) for loading:
A.
Open the thumbwheel (3) door on the front of the canister.
B.
Roll a small amount of material out of the canister by pressing in and down on the
thumbwheel.
C.
Cut the filament below its bend (using the 5" cutters supplied in the Welcome Kit) so that the
filament end is flush with the top filament outlet of the snout.
D.
Close the thumbwheel door (do not remove foam center from gasket yet).
7.
Push canister all the way into the canister bay.
