OC-48 low-speed testing procedure

Perform the following steps for all Alcatel-Lucent 1665 DMX shelf Function unit or

Growth slots containing OC-48 (LNW31 or LNW402) OLIU.

Note:

on the OLIU, make the connections at the LGX equipment in order to verify correct

installation and labeling of the fibers.

LBOs are installed on the OLIU faceplate IN port.

Identify the function groups that contain an OC-48 OLIU circuit pack and fully insert the

OLIU into the shelf.

Requirement:

OLIU.

Insert a 15-dB LC-type LBO into the IN connector of the OC-48 OLIU. See
