Tying function

The upper twines are guided out of the twine box through the twine eye and twine brake to the
stepped pulley (8); the two lower twines are guided by the twine brake directly to the twine tying.
From there they are moved through the twine tying (2) between the rubber roller (4) and the
idler roller (3) to the area of the blade bar (1).
At the start of a wrapping process the rubber roller (4) is driven and moves the twine into the
area of the feed channel chamber and rotating round bale. The twine is received with the round
bale together with the crops as they move through the machine. Twine tying (2) guides two
twines from inside to outside and then back inside around the round bale. At the same time
twine tying guides the other twines from outside to inside and then back around the round bale.
A sensor on the twine tying reports when the wrapping process is complete. The twine is cut off
and the wrapping process is complete.
