WARNING! – Maintenance, assembly, repair and adjustment work as well as
troubleshooting and fault clearance
Effect: Danger to life, injuries or damage to the machine.
The following general rules apply to all maintenance, assembly, repair and adjustment work as
well as for troubleshooting and fault clearance:
• Switch off PTO shaft and engine, remove the ignition key and carry it with you.
• Secure the machine against rolling by using wheel chocks.
• During the operation, maintain an adequate safety distance from all movable parts of the
machine. This applies especially to the collecting mechanism (pick-up) of the crop.
• Before starting assembly work, it is absolutely necessary to move stop cock on the left
lifting cylinder of the tailgate into locking position so that assembly work can be carried out
when the tailgate is open.

Under some working conditions, e. g. on slopes, it is advisable to dismount the bale ejector (3).
Caution! – Bale ejector moves upward!
Risk of injury
• When carrying out assembly or disassembly work, do not stay in the area above the bale
ejector.

1. Unscrew the nuts (1) on both sides from the threaded rod (2).
2. Lift bale ejector (3) upward and unhook the springs (4) right and left.
3. Remove roll pins (5) on both sides and pull out bolts (6).
4. Dismount bale ejector (3) to the rear.
Assembly of bale ejector (3) is in reverse order to the removal procedure.
