1. Move the tension arm (2) from below into central position.
In this position
• the tension spring (3) must not be tensioned,
• tension on the wire rope (4) must be slightly released.

The brake is released by the adjusting lever (1) when starting.
Setting the twine brake (depends on yarn count):
1. Turn the screw (2) clockwise (thicker yarn count)
2. Turn the screw (2) anticlockwise (thinner yarn count)
Note
When the adjusting lever (1) is pressed, both brake plates (3) have to be raised evenly. If this is
not the case, on can adjust with screws (2).
