User authentication

Add a new authentication method

Required configuration items
The types of authentication method to be used:

To add an authentication method:

WebUI
1. Log into the IX10 WebUI as a user with full Admin access rights.
2. On the menu, click System. Under Configuration, click Device Configuration.
The Configuration window is displayed.
3. Click Authentication > Methods.
4. For Add Method, click .
5. Select the appropriate authentication type for the new method from the Method drop-down.
Note Authentication methods are attempted in the order they are listed until the first
successful authentication result is returned. See
methods for information about how to reorder the authentication methods.
6. Repeat these steps to add additional methods.
7. Click Apply to save the configuration and apply the change.

