Description
Release of Digi IX10 firmware version 20.11:
Modem firmware update commands
n
CLI.
Network bridging enhanced to use the MAC address of
n
the first active device listed in Network > Bridges >
Bridge name > Devices as the MAC address for the
bridged interface.
IPsec enhancements:
n
Support for full IPsec IPv6 tunnels: IPv6-over-IPv4, or
l
IPv4-over-IPv6 tunnels.
IPsec tunnels are now treated like network
l
interfaces, which allows tunnels to be selected for
routing and routing priority and access control lists.
IPSec tunnels now wait for Surelink tests, if
l
configured, to pass prior to initiating outbound
tunnels.
Modbus gateway enhancements:
n
Status > Modbus gateway page in the Web UI
l
displays information about modbus clients and
servers connected to the gateway.
show modbus command displays information about
l
the the Modbus gateway service.
Serial port enhancements:
n
Serial port logging options added for starting,
l
stopping, and viewing serial port activity.
Option added to the System > Serial configuration

page to copy serial port settings.
Policy-based routing enhancements:

Added a DSCP option to match the routing rule by the
l
type of DSCP field in the packet.
Added a Defaultroute option for matching policy-
l
based routes to the device's active default route.
Python pip support for installing external modules and
n
libraries.
Link speed and duplex options added to Ethernet port
n
configuration.
ssh and telnet commands added to Admin CLI.

Services > Ping responder allows you to control the
n
interfaces and firewall zones on which the DAL device will
respond to ICMP requests.
Enhanced policy-based routing:
