9.7.2 (Optional) Installing a Smoke Detector

Context


Procedure
Step 1 Secure the smoke detector base to the appropriate hole in the control skylight using M3x10
screws, as shown by (1) in
Figure 9-24 Installing the smoke detector
Step 2 Align the mounting holes in the smoke detector and its base with each other, and then rotate
the smoke detector until it is secured, as shown by (2) and (3) in

9.7.3 (Optional) Installing the Multi-Functional Sensor

Context
The BOM number of a multi-functional sensor is 33010477.
Procedure
Step 1 Align the holes in the mounting base for the multi-functional sensor with the holes in the
control skylight, and use two M3x10 screw assemblies to secure the mounting base to the
control skylight, as shown by (1) in
Step 2 Route the cables of the multi-functional sensor through the cable holes in the control skylight,
as shown by (2) in
Step 3 Secure the multi-functional sensor to the mounting base, as shown by (3) in

The screws for installing a smoke detector are located in the fitting bag of the supporting
object. For example, the screws for installing the smoke detector on the control skylight
are located in the fitting bag of the control skylight.
Prior to installing the smoke detector, properly connect the detector cables to avoid
unnecessary removal.
